If you have so much spare time right now, why not make the most of it by travelling? Traveling is something you can do at any age. But, when you choose to travel, make sure your plans are appropriate for your health situation.
For example, if you have respiratory problems, avoid hilly places. Go wherever you choose, visit holy places, or just explore towns you've always wanted to visit while keeping this in mind!
The globe is becoming more physically healthy; as a result, more people are using gyms, fitness centres, recreational sports facilities, and other fitness facilities.
You don't need to do much to stay in shape; you can go for morning or evening walks, practise yoga, engage in meditation, engage in sports, or visit the gym - whatever suits you.
Do you long to pick up that instrument again? So now is a fantastic time for you and your buddies to go on that Sunday morning bike ride.
Why not give it a try if you've always been curious in how musicians operate? Test try everything you've always wanted to but haven't had time for.
Do all you can to help out. Many of you, perhaps including teachers, may have left careers where you could benefit the community more directly than others.
If you're a teacher, you can probably now give a few disadvantaged youngsters a lesson for nothing! On the basis of your present skill set or even your prior occupation, there are many opportunities to give back to your community.
Many of you may wonder why you should make friends at your age, but as you all know, people have always been social animals and age is just a number. So why don't we return to our "hunting grounds"?
Scientific research has shown that your risk of becoming unwell decreases the more social you are. Create and attend gatherings, reconnect with old pals, and make new friends nearby or abroad - especially in this age of the internet, where anything is possible!
There is a wealth of knowledge in books, so if you can, develop the habit of reading them. Start with periodicals like newspapers or magazines or weekly pieces, then work your way up to books.
Just start writing in your preferred genre! Reading increases your vocabulary and provides you with a wealth of knowledge. While you're at it, give writing a shot.
Try out daily notebooks, poems, short stories, or anything else you enjoy. Several websites and/or apps are available that encourage both reading and writing.
