The Massachusetts State Lottery has announced that a $100,000 lottery prize that was won on St. Patrick's Day in 2022 is about to expire.
The unclaimed $100,000 ticket was purchased at a Star Market in Dedham, situated at 795 Providence Highway, and won during the "Mass Cash" drawing on March 17, 2022.
In the St. Patrick's Day drawing, the winning numbers were
3, 10, 11, 18, and 22.
The deadline for claiming this $100,000 reward is March 17, 2023, one year from the date of the drawing for "Mass Cash" winners.
According to the lottery, when a prize has run its course, it becomes a portion of the "net profit" that is then given as local assistance to the 351 cities and towns in the Bay State.
Each lottery claim centre, which is situated in Braintree, its headquarters in Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester, offers wins of up to $100,000 that can be claimed.
Daily "Mass Cash" lotteries take place at 9 o'clock, and entry is $1. There are three prizes up for grabs, and a player must select five numbers from 1 to 35.
A $100,000 prize is awarded to the "Mass Cash" player if all five numbers match the ones that were selected. A prize of $250 is awarded for matching four numbers, while a prize of $10 is given for matching three.
